Mr. Livhuwani Maanda is the founder and CEO of Simba Civil Engineers and Mining, bringing over 22 years of experience in construction and project management. His career began as a Senior Site Inspector, and through dedication and expertise, he advanced to the role of Site Manager at several leading construction firms before establishing his own company.
He holds an Honours degree in Civil Engineering and is currently pursuing further academic advancement. Mr. Maanda has been involved in several landmark projects, including:
• Gautrain Project
• Kusile Power Station
• Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project
He is an active member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE), an Associate Candidate with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa), and has served as an Engineer’s Representative for multiple municipal infrastructure projects across the country.
Mr. Maanda’s leadership, technical knowledge, and passion for engineering excellence have been central to the growth and success of Simba Civil Engineers and Mining.
Kitso Keletso Maanda is the Managing Director of Simba Civil Engineers and Mining, bringing over 15 years of experience in strategic planning, daily operations, financial and sales performance, and stakeholder engagement. Her leadership ensures the company’s vision is consistently executed with excellence.
Mrs. Maanda began her career as a promoter, advanced to sales consultant, and was later promoted to a managerial role in the cosmetics industry before transitioning into the corporate world. There, she was responsible for achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading operational execution across several top cosmetics brands. Her success in the field laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial journey and eventual partnership with Simba Civil Engineers and Mining
She holds a degree in Marketing, a degree in Communications, and a certificate in Digital Marketing. Her achievements have earned her multiple accolades.
Mrs. Maanda’s strengths in leadership, team building, customer service, and her unwavering commitment to engineering excellence have been instrumental in driving the continued growth and success of Simba Civil Engineers and Mining.
